Chair of St. David's Welcoming Committee

Chloe has been active in mission and ministry at St. David's since 2022, accompanied by her human, Butch Wiest. Chloe welcomes guests, joins us for hospitality, and alerts us to the presence of potentially dangerous squirrels onsite. She is respectful of the holiness of our worship space and waits patiently when Butch reads at the lectern. Mother Claudia has a special blessing for her every week.

Previously, Chloe's human was beloved parishioner John Yeager, who entered into eternal life. Butch stepped up to the plate when Chloe needed a new home, and she accompanies him everywhere, bringing joy to our BBQ fundraisers, vestry meetings, and  worship events.  Chloe rarely barks unless the Happy Birthday song is sung. She either loves it or hates it, we're not sure which.

Chloe's gentle spirit lifts the hearts of many in our St. David's community. She is happy to greet everyone--and all are welcome at St. David's!
