Ways We Serve

 Seasonal Ministry Projects: Socktober

St. David's collects new socks, underwear, and cold-weather accessories every year during the entire month of October to benefit one of our favorite local agencies, Mats for a Mission, which serves the homeless and needy in our region. In October 2022, our parish collected more than 141 pairs of socks, 30 packages of underwear, and received donations of knit hats to keep our neighbors warm.
Liturgical Ministry

St. David's has several liturgical ministries which support the worshipping community here.  Lectors and Lay Eucharistic Ministers serve as readers and Communion servers, usually on a rotation.  The Eucharistic Visitor brings the sacrament to those who are hospitalized, home-bound, and in nursing homes.  Altar Guild prepares our worship space using seasonal hangings and arranging decorations and flowers for feast days. They also see that communion vessels, bread and wine are ready for our Holy Eucharist services.
Meeting Space for Community Organizations

St. David's is happy to offer a variety of space options to community organizations, including Twelve Step groups, Scouts, support groups, and West Seneca Community of Churches.
